Transcription English, Grammar, and Punctuation

This 20-hour course will cover the following topics, specifically as they relate to legal transcription:

Parts of speech
General spelling rules
Confusing words
Capitalization
Formatting
Punctuation

A deep understanding of the English language as well as spelling, grammar, formatting, and punctuation is necessary to succeed as a transcriptionist. This course will review familiar concepts as well as introduce new ones in order to best prepare you to handle complex transcription assignments.

NOTE: This CEU course content is included in other courses we offer, like the Legal Transcription course.
